Whilst having dinner this evening I was amazed when I looked up to view out of the velux roof window to find a roosting Hummer! I've had them in the garden every I have lived here, I've had them roosting on the outside of the house (up to three) and I've caught them in the moth trap at night - but this is the first time we've ever had one enter the house and roost! It had a large enough entrance though, as we had our folding sliding doors open, so the whole end wall of the kitchen (9ftx6ft) was open.Saturday, June 13, 2009
Hummingbird Hawkmoth, Farcet Fen
